The Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation is speaking out about the Salvador Dalí biopic Daliland just days before its debut at the Toronto Film Festival. According to the Foundation, they did not approve the film. Per Deadline, the organization claims they only learned about Daliland through media reports, and at the time reached out to the film’s producers in order to regularize their rights. The Foundation says they never heard back from the crew and claim they also attempted to contact the film’s director and screenwriter.
