At Disney’s D23 Expo, it was announced that there would be a fourth Descendants movie. Descendants was a Disney Channel original movie musical that came out in 2015. It was dolled by a sequel in 2017 and another in 2019. Made in the same vein as spiritual predecessors Camp Rock and High School Musical, like the latter, the first three films were made by choreographer and director Kenny Ortega.
