Another screening of The Whale has brought another standing ovation for lead actor Brendan Fraser. From A24 and director Darren Aronofsky, The Whale stars Fraser in one of the most unique roles the veteran actor has ever played. He stars as a 600-pound recluse who hopes to reconnect with his daughter (Sadie Sink) before it’s too late, years after abandoning his family to pursue a new life with his gay lover.
