Jamie Lee Curtis Says She Never Would’ve Made It in Hollywood if Not for Halloween

Halloween Ends may not have been a critical hit, but even if fans are debating the quality of her final film as Laurie Strode, Jamie Lee Curtis is nevertheless eternally grateful to have had a 44-year run playing the character. Back in 1978, Curtis first portrayed Laurie in the original Halloween film by director John Carpenter. After returning as Laurie in Halloween II, Halloween H20, and Halloween: Resurrection, JLC had one last hurrah as the fan favorite final girl with a new trilogy of films from director David Gordon Green.
