Last year, it was reported that a planned movie based on the manga and anime series was in development with Japanese filmmaker Shinsuke Sato (Alice in Borderland) set to direct. Legendary Entertainment’s Mary Parent and Alex Garcia are producing while Sato will also serve as an executive producer.
