The full list of nominees for the Golden Globe Awards was announced on Monday, and while Tom Cruise has garnered a lot of praise for his starring role in the massively successful sequel Top Gun: Maverick, he wasn’t nominated for an acting award. This may be for the best, as Cruise has been on the outs with the ceremony and its organizers since last year. In 2021, he returned the three Golden Globes he’d won in prior years due to the controversy involving the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
