Courtney Love Stands by Fight Club Firing Story, Says Brad Pitt ‘Won’t Stop Pursuing Kurt’

Hole singer Courtney Love stands by her recent claim that Brad Pitt had her fired from Fight Club, but she also insists there’s no ill will held against the actor – she just wants him to stop trying to make a Kurt Cobain biopic. Recently, Love appeared as a guest for an interview on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. During the interview, Love said she was originally cast to play Marla Singer, Helena Bonham Carter’s character, in the David Fincher movie Fight Club. However, she also claimed to be fired after rejecting a pitch from Pitt and director Gus Van Sant to let them make a scripted film about Cobain.
