The Fast & Furious franchise should have ended after its third movie. At least that’s what its box office seemed to suggest as the series was getting diminishing returns and reviews were not particularly helping. However, a few movies on from there, something changed and suddenly the franchise was pushing towards the $1 billion mark, which it did eventually hit with Furious 7 in 2015.
