Disney execs hope to soon set sail with another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but the first question fans will have when one is officially announced is if Captain Jack Sparrow will appear. As is widely known, the relationship between Disney and Johnny Depp was soured after he was accused of abuse by ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp later sued Heard for defamation, and with a jury ruling heavily in his favor, the actor has been vindicated in the eyes of most. He’s gotten his acting career back on track with a key role in the French film Jeanne du Barry, which pulled in big crowds as the opening film at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
