The Flash may be set to give the DCU a soft reboot this weekend, but a decade ago the DCEU began with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. A reboot of the Superman franchise and the first chapter in the director’s planned universe, the film saw Henry Cavill step up to play the dual role of Clark Kent and Superman, and fans were instantly on board with his performance as the iconic comic book character.
