The ending of Commando would have been quite a bit different, if not for Sylvester Stallone. While Stallone had nothing to do with the hit action movie, its ending is said to have changed due to the Rocky star’s rivalry at the time with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Back in the 1980s, both Schwarzenegger and Stallone had been on the rise in the action genre, each determined to be the very best.
