The cast of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be able to promote the film after Lionsgate reached an interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA amid the actors’ strike. While many independent titles or small studio productions such as NEON and A24 have been able to promote their upcoming releases, or continue filming their next projects since they do not belong to companies grouped in AMPTP, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the first blockbuster to get a similar agreement, just as the union and the studios appear to be close to reaching a deal that will end the strike.
