There’s less than a month to go before the arrival of director Wes Ball’s upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes in movie theaters, and the latest installment in the Planet of the Apes science fiction saga is already threatening to prosperously reign, in terms of dollar signs. At the time of this writing, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is forecast to make between $40 million and $50 million over its opening weekend domestically in May (per Boxoffice Pro).
