George Floyd might have lost his life at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, but his spirit will live on in a new biopic titled Daddy Changed the World. Floyd was murdered on May 25, 2020, after police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than nine minutes while Floyd lay face down and handcuffed on the ground. His death sparked an awakening across the globe that shined a light on police brutality that still resonates today.
