The streaming giant Netflix is now building a Minecraft animated series, it has been revealed. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the Minecraft series is now being developed by Netflix and Mojang Studios, who are aiming to create a CG-animated TV series based on the hugely popular video game franchise. Further details are thin on the ground at present, but the report does reveal that the Minecraft series will feature an original story with new characters that shows the Minecraft world in a new light.
