The highly anticipated adaptation of the Stephen King novel, The Long Walk, is set to start filming in July. The project has been around Hollywood since the late 1980s, but it wasnt until 2018 that things really got moving when New Line Cinema acquired the rights to the book. At the time, Andr vredal (The Last Voyage of the Demeter, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) was set to direct, but as is the case with many films, the project fell apart, allowing Lionsgate to pick up the pieces.
