A Spaceballs sequel is now in development, it has been confirmed. Following Frozen and Beauty and the Beast star Josh Gads recent cryptic tease, The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that the actor is working on Spaceballs 2 alongside Amazon MGM Studios. Original writer and director and comedy icon Mel Brooks is producing the project with Gad, with Josh Greenbaum set to direct the comedy sequel from a script by Gad, Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez.
