The long-awaited fourth film in the Friday franchise has been given a positive update by star Ice Cube, who says that the movie finally has some traction at Warner Bros. after a lengthy delay. Ice Cube starred in the original Friday back in 1995 along with Chris Tucker as a pair of unemployed friends who become indebted to a local drug dealer. The film spawned two sequels, Next Friday (2000), and Friday After Next (2002), and has gone on to gain a large cult following since its release that has been eagerly awaiting a fourth entry.
