Oscar winner Lupita Nyongo is no stranger to the horror genre. After winning the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for 12 Years a Slave, at the 2014 ceremony, Nyongo would go on to star in the horror comedy Little Monsters and Jordan Peeles follow-up to Get Out, Us. And the Star Wars and MCU alumna says, “I found myself coming again and again to horror.” Nyongo elaborated in an interview with Variety at the premiere of her latest film, A Quiet Place: Day One.
