Jan de Bont, the original director of 1996 Twister, has shared his views about the upcoming 2024 sequel Twisters. When addressing the Warner Bros. sequel, de Bont shared his opinion on the immense changes in the film industry over the past three decades, especially with special effects, and simply says that the length of time between the films is too long, making this one superfluous.
