A Quiet Place: Day One looks to be doing as well with general audiences as it is with critics. Variety reports that the film roared on Thursday night with a whopping $6.8 million opening from preview shows. And, as mentioned, critics are taking to it as well, which is certainly a rarity for the third installment of a horror IP.
