We spoke with Brian Van Holt amid the release of his gritty new true-crime thriller Boneyard, which chronicles the real-life West Mesa murders in Albuquerque dating back to the early 2000s, and the ongoing investigation that followed. Van Holt has kept busy on the small screen as well, telling us how he went straight from playing Braxton Sawyer in the hit series Lawmen: Bass Reeves, starring David Oyelowo, to playing the lead role in Lionsgate’s Boneyard.
