Deadpool & Wolverine is dipping into the well of Marvel villains to bring out Cassandra Nova as its main antagonist, but according to Ryan Reynolds the movie could have featured a villain that fans have expected to see in every project of the last several years. From early on in Phase 4 and even slightly before that, while Thanos was still looming large over the franchise fans have taken every opportunity to try and wish Mephisto into the MCU.
