Paul Feig, the director of comedy films like Bridesmaids, A Simple Favor, and 2016’s Ghostbusters, has signed on to make a Worst Roommate Ever film for Blumhouse. The same Blumhouse that has been responsible for films like Paranormal Activity, Unfriended, Get Out, Halloween, and The Black Phone is teaming up with a comedy director to bring to the big screen a feature based on one of Netflix’s noteworthy true crime documentary series. Feig’s comedic touch and Jason Blum’s ability to produce horror may seem like a weird mix of tones, but it seems that this is a collaboration that the pair have been trying to make happen for years.
