Keanu Reeves made an appearance at the BRZRKR panel at SDCC on Saturday, during which it was announced that, as well as the live-action adaptation of the comic, an animated series is also in development at Netflix. Just like the highly anticipated movie, the series will also feature Reeves voicing the lead role. The anime series will take a lot of inspiration from The Matrix animated spin-off, The Animatrix, with Terminator Zero and The Batman II‘s Mattson Tomlinson will be writing and showrunning the project.
