Pearl, the prequel to X and MaXXXine, will stream on Netflix starting next week, on August 1. The announcement was made by the streamer, which took to X (the social network, not the trilogy) to post a photo of the titular character of Ti West’s prequel in what is known as the X trilogy. Pearl is the second installment that worked as a prequel to expand on the character played by Mia Goth in X, who sliced and diced the adult film workers who dared to shoot their dirty film on the farm owned by the elderly couple.
