Cate Blanchett made MCU history when she portrayed Hela in Thor: Ragnark. Directed by Taika Waititi, the superhero comedy, starring Chris Hemsworth (as Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (as Loki) introduced a new powerful Asgardian into the mix. Hela, the goddess of death, is the sister of Thor and Loki (kind of), and was on a mission to reclaim Asgard following the death of Odin (Anthony Hopkins).
