The creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will be the subject of a new documentary that hits theaters next month chronicling the duo’s quest to bring a famed Mexican restaurant back from the dead. Stone and Parker debuted South Park back in 1997 after developing the animated series from their 1992 and 1995 short films, both of which were titled The Spirit of Christmas. Since then, the animated series has gone on to enter the zeitgeist of popular culture, and become a worldwide franchise comprised of not only the popular show, but movies, albums, and video games as well.
