Matthew Lillard, star of the hit horror movie Five Nights at Freddys, has confirmed that production for the sequel, Five Nights at Freddys 2, is set to begin this month around Halloween. Now streaming On-Demand, the first film became a fan favorite when Universal Pictures released it simultaneously in U.S. theaters and on Peacock on October 27, 2023. It went on to gross nearly $300 million worldwide, leading to a sequel slated for release in 2025.
