Apparently, the claims made by Gladiator II star Denzel Washington that his gay kiss was cut from the final edit of the movie are all bullsh*t, at least according to director Ridley Scott, who seemed to have no idea what was going on when asked about it by a reporter from Variety during the films L.A. premiere. Washington stars in the sequel as Macrinus, a former slave who now keeps a stable of gladiators, including Paul Mescals character of Lucius “Hanno” Verus.
