The late Michael K. Williams, best known for playing Omar Little on The Wire and Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire, made his final featured performance in an animated short titled The Brown Dog, and now fans can watch the film for free, Variety reports. The release comes courtesy of Idris Elba, via his 22Summers production company, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who signed on as executive producers of the film, which was commissioned by WeTransfer’s arts arm WePresent and uploaded to their YouTube page on November 22, 2024, in honor of Williams’s birthday.
