Ron Perlman has had a remarkable career. His first film was an Oscar winner (Quest for Fire) from a great director; later that decade, he’d win a Golden Globe for the TV series Beauty and the Beast. He’s been in everything from big franchise movies (Star Trek, Blade, Hellboy, Alien) and international arthouse films (The City of Lost Children, Sergio and Sergei) to indie horror (Cronos, The Last Winter, I Sell the Dead) and numerous classics with filmmaker Guillermo del Toro.
