Set to hit theaters on Christmas day, Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is an updated take on the German classic that will look to bring vampires back to their roots. Not just through the movie’s Gothic tone, either, as star Bill Skarsgård’s Count Orlok will also be a chilling reminder that the undead creatures didn’t always sparkle. Thus far, we’ve only seen glimpses of Orlok in the trailer, but his big reveal in the film is something we’re even more psyched about after hearing what Skarsgård first thought of the vampire’s appearance, which – according to Eggers – he was totally disgusted by.
