The name Sam Raimi has become synonymous with the horror genre over the years thanks to the Evil Dead trilogy, but following the release of Army of Darkness in 1992, he took a lengthy break from blood and guts to try his hand at other projects. The results were spectacular, to say the least, with the director bringing us such favorites as A Simple Plan, and – of course – Sony’s first Spider-Man trilogy.
