If one is familiar with BookTok, one might have heard of the fantasy book “Quicksilver,” released on June 3, 2024. Written by “Blood & Roses” and “Dirty Nasty Freaks” author Callie Hart, Quicksilver exploded in popularity, quickly became a bestseller and, within its first two months of release, garnered 3 million mentions on TikTok. The story of 24-year-old human rebel Saeris Fane inadvertently reopening a gateway between two realms and accidentally binding herself to a handsome but mysterious Fae warrior named Kingfisher was prime material for an adaptation, and Netflix has now set its sights on the property.
