Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim has adapted a single appendix from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings novels into an entire animated movie, but it might not have enough substance to sustain a feature-length runtime. Directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East), the new film takes place 180 years before The Fellowship of the Ring, following Helm Hammerhand (Brian Cox) and his daughter Hera (Gaia Wise).
