Put on your eye make-up and queue up a Nirvana album because The Batman Part II just got a MAJOR filming update. Director Matt Reeves is set to return to Gotham City, with his stylistically emo Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) in tow, in the upcoming sequel to his 2022 hit DC Comics adaptation. While the old DCEU was a shaky mess, Reeves’ The Batman universe has been an ever-increasing hit. The Batman received wide-spread acclaim when it released in theaters in 2022. Reeves then followed this up with the incredible spin-off series, The Penguin, which is expected to dominate come next year’s awards season. Fans are anxiously waiting for Part II to continue the upward trend, and we just got a bat-sized dose of good news.
