Adrien Brody, the star of one of 2024’s best films, The Brutalist, recalls the harrowing experience that was shooting The Pianist, the film that earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor in 2003. Brody reveals that he went through an extreme diet to lose weight for the role, and the experience was, in fact, so harrowing that it gave him post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
