In preparation for the December 2025 release of the threequel Avatar: Fire and Ash, Empire magazine has released new details about the film’s characters and world in their monthly “Path to Pandora” series featured in every new issue. This month, Empire has provided the first look at a new character named Peylak, who will be played by David Thewlis, best known for his role as Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter film series. Interestingly, this new Na’vi character is not part of the Mangkwan ‘Ash’ Clan, but he is the Chief of the Tlalim Clan, also known as the Wind Traders.
