The phrase “quiet on the set” was stretched to the limit during the upbeat shoot of La Dolce Villawhen director Mark Waters (Mean Girls) had to ask his costars gently but firmly to, well, pipe down. Scott Foley (Scandal) and Maia Reficco (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin), who play father and daughter in the heartwarming Netflix original comedy, bonded so well on set that they had trouble dialing down the banter and laughs. “Look,” Foley noted with a smile in a recent MovieWeb interview, “it’s not that we’re unprofessional, right?
