There was never any question whether Captain America: Brave New World would lock down the top spot at the box office over its opening weekend. However, even with the film’s cool callbacks to The Incredible Hulk (2008) and the inclusion of President “Thunderbolt” Ross’ (Harrison Ford) fiery alter ego, Red Hulk, the latest MCU entry required the four-day holiday weekend to reach an estimated $100 million domestically.
