George R.R. Martin may still be procrastinating his way through writing the latest Game of Thrones book, but that doesn’t mean he’s not been hard at work elsewhere. In addition to several Game of Thrones spin-offs on HBO, Martin has found his stride in the video game world with the award-winning, record-breaking title made by FromSoftware, Elden Ring. The fantasy adventure game came out in 2022, but it is already widely regarded as one of the best of all time. A good portion of that praise is thanks to the incredible worldbuilding done by Martin and the game’s director, Hidetaka Miyazaki. As with most of Martin’s work, it seems Elden Ring could be the latest to be adapted into live-action.
