The live-action Lord of the Rings cinematic universe is still expanding as Warner Bros. has several upcoming movies in the pipeline, including Andy Serkis‘ The Hunt for Gollum. But, it seems we’ll all have to wait a little bit longer for the next movie to arrive in theaters, asThe Hunt for Gollum has just been hit with a major delay. The film, which is being directed by Serkis, who will also reprize the role of Gollum, was originally slated for a Dec. 2026 release window.
