After spending over a decade battling the Umbrella Corporation across six Resident Evil movies, Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson take a crack at exploring a new fantasy adventure world, created by George R.R. Martin, in their latest big-screen collaboration, In the Lost Lands. As with many Martin stories, this one is rooted in mythology and lore, but Jovovich and Anderson wanted to make sure they left plenty of questions unanswered. Anderson tells MovieWeb, “I think one of the important things is that there is mystery.” Jovovich agrees, adding, “It’s mythology, it’s fantasy, and it’s magical creatures who are never truly understood by man.”
