While his name may not be familiar, actor Simon Fisher-Becker has been part of two of the biggest sci-fi and fantasy franchises in history. In sad news shared by the actor’s agent, it has been revealed that the 63-year-old passed away on Sunday. Fisher-Becker became best known for playing the roles of Dorium Maldovar, the blue-skinned Crespallion black marketeer seen multiple times during Matt Smith’s Doctor Who run, and as The Fat Friar in the 2001 movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
