The jury would no doubt have incited the boisterous demigod Maui to breakout with a jovial “You’re welcome,” as they delivered their verdict on Mar. 10, declaring that the ideas for the 2016 animated movie were not stolen from Buck Woodall, the creator of a story about “Bucky the Wave Warrior” that, according to the claims brought forward in the case, had “substantial” similarities to the Disney hit.
