Out of all the actors who have appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Elizabeth Olsen’s trajectory has been the most interesting to watch. First introduced as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron (not counting her post-credit scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Olsen didn’t sign the traditional multi-picture deal to appear in a slew of MCU projects. The actress has stated in the past that whenever they wanted her back beyond her original contract, it was because they had more story to tell for Wanda. All told, Olsen has been in five MCU films and the miniseries WandaVision, but following the conclusion of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it seemed as if her time as the character was up, until now.
