Captain America: Brave New World actor Giancarlo Esposito has unmasked the Marvel supervillain he was originally set to star as opposite Anthony Mackie’s titular hero in the fourth entry of the star-spangled film series. Esposito was a late addition to the cast, enlisted as the Serpent Society’s Seth Voelker aka Sidewinder. However, in a new interview with Empire Magazine (via Screen Rant), he revealed that he was initially “prepped” to play Klaus Voorhees aka King Cobra in the MCU, but those plans changed amid the movie’s creative overhaul.
