Almost every DC fan is in agreement that Jason Momoa‘s casting as Lobo is a dream come true. It turns out, it’s not just fans that are desperate to see the Aquaman star play DC Comics’ most notorious intergalactic bounty hunter, as Momoa himself is a long-time fan of the character, and thought he was going to play the character much earlier in his career. Momoa joins the growing cast of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which stars Milly Alcock as the titular Kryptonian superhero. Supergirl will make her DCU debut in this year’s Superman (which releases on July 11), but we’ll have to wait a little longer to see Momoa’s Lobo on the big screen, as Supergirl releases in theaters on June 26, 2026.
