Released on March 21, 2025, Robert De Niro‘s latest gangster flick, The Alto Knights, failed to make a dent at the box office. Earning just $3.2 million its opening weekend, the Barry Levinson-directed movie was panned by critics, despite De Niro pulling double duty as both Vito Genovese and Frank Costello, two 1950s Mafia bosses embroiled in a bitter turf war.
